SESTINO GIACOMONI

Biography

Sestino Giacomoni, President of Consap S.p.A. since 2023, was born in Rome on March 27, 1967. He graduated with honors in Political Science from Luiss University and began his political career at a young age, becoming a city councilor at 23. In 1994, he started working as a financial advisor and collaborated with Forza Italia, where he became head of the economic department’s organizational structure. He served as parliamentary assistant to Antonio Marzano and later as Head of the Technical Secretariat at the Ministry of Productive Activities. He has held positions at SACE, Consap, and IPI. Elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies from 2006 to 2022, he served on several committees, including the Finance Committee, where he was Vice President, and he chaired the Parliamentary Commission supervising Cassa Depositi e Prestiti. As President of Consap he promotes the strengthening of the company’s activities, with particular focus on supporting young people and enhancing its social role.
