CESARE COLOMBI

Biography

Cesare Colombi was born in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano on July 8, 1964. He earned his degree in Political Economy with a specialization in International Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Prestitalia S.p.A. - Intesa Sanpaolo Group and, since May 2018, has held the position of President of Assofin. Cesare Colomni began his career as a financial advisor in 1988. Since 1990, he held various positions at Banca Popolare di Lodi. Until 2001, he also served as General Manager and Legal Representative for the startup of GE Financial Insurance; he was then appointed General Manager of Arca Network Sim (Arca Group). In 2004, he joined the key management personnel of the former UBI Banca Group, serving as General Manager of BPU Sim and UBI Banca Private Investment. He has served as General Manager of Prestitalia S.p.A. since 2015, also taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer as of 2025.
